Problem: You're not sure that what you've experienced is a hate crime or maybe you're afraid to go to the police.

A homophobic/transphobic hate crime incident is any which is perceived to be homophobic or transphobic by the victim, or any other person.  It includes name-calling, physical threats, damage to property, threatening words or behaviour and/or bullying.  And, you no longer have to go to the police station to report homophobic/transphobic hate crime incidents.

In partnership with Islington Council and the Metropolitan Police, London Friend provides third party reporting of homophobic/transphobic hate crimes. If you have experienced, witnessed or know of a homophobic or transphobic hate crime incident in Islington, or if you live in Islington, you can report to us.

All reports are confidential and if you wish, you can remain anonymous.

In an emergency situation, please dial 999.
